As a general rule, I reply to incoming messages via the communication channel chosen by the sender. Since the unencrypted transmission of information by e-mail is not secure, I recommend sending sensitive and confidential messages and documents as encrypted e-mails via the IncaMail Platform of Swiss Post or the PrivaSphere Secure Messaging service of PrivaSphere AG.

These two e-mail encryption services have been offially approved by the Federal Department of Justice and Police (FDJP) as platforms for secure delivery in the context of legal proceedings and therefore meet the requirements of the Ordinance on the Recognition of Delivery Platforms (SR 272.11).
